What is my chance to get in Queens College or Hunter College?

I want get in Queens or Hunter College, my average was 83, but I get big problem on my SAT. I only get 1100 on my SAT......

What is my chance to get in???

Your SATs are very low for Queens and Hunter. Your grades are all right.

This does not mean that you shouldn't apply. You may be able to convince them, via your application and your references, to let you in. But consider them reach schools, and have some backup plans in case you don't get in.

Backup schools for you might be CUNY Medgar Evers College, and New York City College of Technology. If you don't get into Queens or Hunter, you could get into these other two. Or, if you prefer, and you really want Queens or Hunter, and they don't admit you, you can go to community college, do well there, and transfer. If you do well at cc, Hunter and Queens should admit you, no problem.
