What is my dog? Whippet and what?

Question

She is currently 12 weeks. She has the long legs and tail of a whippet, but her face is no where near as pointy. She is jet black with white paws, a stripe from her chin to her belly, and her tail is tipped in white like it was dipped in paint. She is fuller than a whippet and I was told she may grow to around 40 lbs. I think her dad may be a lab, but no is sure. Any opinions out there?

in the last photo she looks like a kelpie

without a photo it is difficult to determine exactly what your dog could be crossed with. Have you talked to her breeder? It is possible from the description that she is crossed with a lab.

Sounds like my dog who's Bedlington terrier cross whippet. He started off jet black with the white marking when a pup and grew grey when he got older.

But without a picture it's pretty much impossible to tell.

What type of fur does she have?

Short, long, curly?
