Question:

What is my error coin worth?

I have a 2007 Utah state quarter that has a missing clad on the head side of the quarter. I have searched the internet and cannot find another one like it, or even a mention of a Utah missing clad error.Can somebody help please?

  1. Did you try Ebay? You can use the search function for  completed auctions for "Utah State Quarter Error". You may also want to pick up a copy of COIN WORLD.

  2. There are a couple of places to go here. You will have to send color scans or photo's or neither can help, please don't bother them is you can't do that. They will just ask for them or will not help. You can try answerman2@aol.com he answers numismatic questions for Numismatic News a weekly coin magazine, the other is Ken Potter a well known error expert reach him at ken@koinpro.com. These days it is not that uncommon for one layer on a clad coin to be missing so it may not have much of a value but no harm in trying. Hope this sends you in the right direction.
