Let's see. Probably Macallan or Lagavulin.

Other options:

Auchentoshan, but I don't think it's that expensive.

Deanston, Bunnibihain and Oban, but they're not really expensive either.

I'd go with Lagavulin 16 YO (a favorite) or one of Macallan's endess lineup. If you insist on expensive (but realistic) I'd go to the 18YO, which I haven't ponied up for yet.

REAL scotch drinkers have a favorite particular bottling.

You sound like a Macallan, though.
