What is my generation called?

I was born in August 1993, and I am 14 years old. What's my generation?

I was under the impression that people born in the 1980s and 1990s are the Millennial Generation, or Generation Y (because they come after Generation X).

The term I use is the "Bratz generation."

Sometime I also use "Paris Hilton's Kids."

It's sad you kids don't have anyone useful to look up to.

Actually the generation names we commonly use today, such as "Baby Bomers" and "Gen Xers" was something made up after the fact. I believe Baby Boomers didn't become a widely used term until the 1980s, some 30+ years after the first of the generation. So to answer your question, wait 30 years.

Besides, I always find it a logical fallacy to lump everyone within a ten year time period together. It is as to assume someone born 1960 would be closer to someone born in 1948 instead of someone born 1961. Just be yourself!
