i got 60 percent on my exam and my average before the exam is 80? (the exam is worth 30 % of my mark)

  1. (60/100 x 30) + (80/100 x 70)= 74%


  2. Yes, it is a 74. 60(3)+80(7)/10 = 74.

  3. Current grade 80% = 56 out of 70

    Exam = 60% = 18 out of 30

    30 out of 100 = 30% of final grade

    74 out of 100 is your point total.

    So you now have a 74% in the class
