Well, it depends. Are you a b*****d(a child born out of wedlock) sometimes a single mother would name her child's last name after hers, instead of the father's, but I guess it's whatever she was named before she was married(if she ever got married)

This might very well be the first time for me to hear of anyone asking this question.  You can ask your father, your grandparents, an uncle or an aunt.  You are in the US, correct?  If you do not have any relatives to ask, and if your mother is a U.S. citizen, then you could contact the Social Security Administration; go on-line and search through their site and you might find something there that might help you.  You could also contact the IRS as they usually maintain maiden names on various records.  Looking at your first name, my first thought is that you are a Japanese person by blood or perhaps half Japanese and half American......  If your mother is a Japanese, then you might try contacting a Japanese Consulate nearest to you and I am sure they would know how you could go about obtaining your mother's maiden name from a source in Japan.

If you Mother was born in the US, each state has a birth record center, and certainly such an office would have her birth record.
