for instance, when I'm at work on my computer, I wanna just take the moniter and throw it along with everything else on my desk or if everything is real quiet I just wanna make loud noises and bang on the walls. Not because I'm angry or anything just because my brain wants me to do it and I have no reason why. I'm a quiet normal person, and can control these feelings but my mind wants me to do these things!!

  1. but you're not doing them. your brain is THINKING these thoughts, but the rest of your brain is still being logical and you're not actually doing them. if you has a mental illness, you'd be doing the things your brain is telling you to do, because those thoughts are taking over you. But in your case, you're thinking about crazy stuff, your brain then goes 'no actually, thats stupid, im not gonna do it' and you dont.

so its just random thoughts your brain is having. maybe you have too much time on your hands, or you are depressed. you could ty talking about this to someone (i know thats hard).

    good luck!

  2. maybe you have adhd? have you considered that?

  3. When it's too quiet I start mumbling gibberish.  Sometimes people hear me, and they think its weird that I talk to myself in a made-up language, but it's not like Im crazy or anything... I just need background noise to help me concentrate at work.

(I do research for the government so I spend long hours reading documents or tracking down all sorts of information through the Internet, hence my workspace is very quiet).

I'd suggest listening to music while doing stuff.  It provides a nice background distraction, and occupies your mind when you are bored.  I believe you are just bored, and so have these thoughts / daydreams / whatever you call them enter your head to keep you occupied.  The fact that you haven't actually thrown stuff around or banged on walls or anything shows that you are OK.

  4. I get a similar feeling, my brain just wants me to take my glasses off & snap them in half, lol

I just put it down to silly thoughts I get, and my mind just having too much time on it's hands.  We need to get more real issues to think about instead.

It's not a mental health issue - just a case of a mind that wanders.
