I just sold 22 shares of stock that I purchased at $17.68, and sold at 17.90. What's my profit?

  2. unless you have typed the dollar amounts incorrectly; your profit is $4.84.

  3. Your profit per share is $0.22 (17.90 - 17.68).  Times 22 shares = $4.84 ($0.22 * 22).  However, you now also subract any fees associated with the purchase and the sale.  If you had no fees, then the total profit is the $4.84.
