What is my punishment for grand theft?

im 17. straight A student. never been arrested or have got any sort of ticket...but yesterday my luck changed. i was arrested for grand theft...for about 1000 dollars...(in California)...does anyone know what will happen to me at court?

You will most likely have to go to juvie or something. You may get lucky and just have to do community service or something. It's hard to say.

Why did you steal? Most probably prison.
