  1. The original song is called "In The Year 2525 (Exordium and Terminus)" and was released by Zager and Evans in 1969. The version I myself am familiar with is a cover sung by Gina Torres for the theme tune of "Cleopatra 2525" (short-lived sci-fi show) which had different lyrics. Anyway, hope this helps!
