  1. wash the bird off 1st, pull out any "gizzards" and such. Rub it down with butter and herbs. Wrap in foil. Open foil and check, oh, every 20 minutes.

You can do awesome corn on the cob! Check the internet instead of me wasting yer time!

  2. Grilled to perfection peaches

Preheat grill to medium high heat. Mix 1/4 C balsalmic vinaigrette dressing & 2 TB honey in small bowl. Add 4 halved & pitted fresh ripe peaches; toss to coat.

Remove peaches from dressing reserving dressing. Grill peaches 6-8 minutes or until softened, turning occasionally & brushing with reserved dressing. Place 2 peach halves on each of 4 dessert plates.

Top each serving with 2 TB thawed coolwhip, & a mint leaf if desired.

((now this recipe I haven't made))

    Cinnamon Grilled peaches

Glaze-equal parts butter, brown sugar & Grand Marnier, & 1 pinch salt. Simmer the glaze on stove top.

Cut peach into half, de seed it. Cut each half in half again.

Skewer 1 peach quarter with cinnamon stick, add a mint leaf, add another peach quarter. Use a skewer if needed to ease cinnamon stick on.

Put on grill (outside grill, or george foreman). Put peaches on grill & baste with glaze.

Cook about 4-6 min per side. Turn when they begin to get brown. MAy baste again.

Another idea, skewer the peaches with vanilla beans instead of mint leaves for another flavor.

<note> I didn't put the lid down on the george to make this, I kept the lid up!

  3. Pineapple.  Just cut the top off, peel the outside, core it out, and cut into very large thick slices length wise.  Put those right on the grill.  The sugars in the pineapple will caramelize and turn brown on the outside and you will be in heaven.

  4. The grilled fruit suggestions sound fabulous!

Here's something else fast, easy, different AND delicious for the grill:

Buy raw shrimp in the shell - get the biggest ones you can afford. Cut them down the back to clean out the "vein." Marinate them in some olive oil and a ton of chopped up garlic for about an hour in the fridge. You can throw some fresh herbs or a splash of wine in with the marinade. String the shrimp on skewers and cook just until pink and opaque.

If you want to do some skewered veggies, you can use a similar marinade (but not in with the shrimp) and put them on the grill earlier than the shrimp since they'll take longer.

I suppose it's kind of a messy way to eat shrimp since you have to peel them, but that's what helps keep the shrimp really juicy on the grill. And it's fun anyhow.

update: I realize I have a really lame picture of the last time we grilled shrimp http://i35.tinypic.com/22f1og.jpg

  5. saute veggies in a perforated wok

    scallops wrapped in bacon

    corn in the husks

To do a chicken, use indirect heat.  Light one side of your gril, and put the chicken on the other, un-lit side.  Otherwise, it will burn before it cooks thoroughly.

  6. pizza, roll it out, cover top with olive oil and garlic, grill top down till slightly browned, take off, cover with ingred you choose and grill, I wouldn't overload toppings, pick 2-4 that you really enjoy

  7. Two things that we do with chicken on the grill...

You can make a drunken chicken.... here's how.

Buy one can of beer - any kind that you like...pour about half of it out (or you could drink it) and stick it up the chickens rear.  Place the chicken over indirect heat on the grill for about 2 hours for a 4 lb chicken.  Stand the chicken up so that the beer doesn't leak out of the can.  You may want to stand it up in an aluminum pan so that the drippings don't cause flare ups.  Sounds funny, I know but the beer will flavor the chicken and make it oh-so-moist!.  You can also put a rub on the outside of the chicken.

You can also make buffalo chicken.  We usually do these with boneless skinless chicken b*****s... place them on the grill and about 5 mins before they are done we coat them with Franks red-hot buffalo sauce.   They are great.  Come to think of it, I think that's what I'm having for dinner tonight!
