What is necessary to make on Ouija board work? I just tried but couldn't get anything.?

I made an Ouija board based on the one available from Hasbro, nice size and everything. My pointer is a CD with no artwork on it, just some words. The hole in the middle would be used to point to the letters and such. I tried about a half an hour ago, midnight my time. My friend and I are sitting in a room with the lights off and flashlights shining towards the board (no candles, unfortunately). We said our prayers and opened the seance saying we were looking to hear positive things and that please no negative things be said. Our questions were: Do you believe Jesus Christ is our saviour; If you'd like to, could you tell us your name; Is my boyfriend the right guy for me; and What is the name of the man I will marry?

We have had nothing. We placed the fingertips of both of our hands on either side of the disk, with the disc first positioned over the word OUIJA over top and centre of the board. We don't know what we are doing wrong. PLEASE help me! Thank you sooo much =)

**Please do not tell me Ouija boards don't work, I'm looking for someone with experience and knowledge on this. Thanks! =)

I knew someone who used the Ouija board and got killed a few months later. Leave it alone please, you'll regret it when you have a demon pestering you around.

Go get a friend to be with you while you use it, don't look directly at them, and the board will work, for some mysterious ways...

Your experience with the ouija board is not unusual.  In fact, it is quite common.  I used a Ouija board years ago and nothing happened.  Nothing happened when some of my friends played the Ouija board.  I actually found the whole experience incredibly boring.  Scrabble is much more fun, more interesting, and more exciting.  

The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It is meant for two or more players so it will not work very well if you try to use it alone.  It has no supernatural powers.  It does not communicate with the dead and it does not contact spirits.  It does not open any portals to the underworld or to anywhere else.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.

You have to truly believe that there are spirits in your house, and you will unconsciously move your hands and trick yourself to believe a spirit did it.

o_0 did you check the batteries? But seriously, the fact that you reject the idea that the Ouija boards don't work is a great hint that your common sense is the one that isn't working...

Your help is already there.. The fact that nothing is happening is very fortunate for you. Jesus Christ is in the house, and He's trying to save you from yourself. He loves you so much, He will let you make the choice, but  make no mistake, what your doing gives Satan legal right to you and anyone else there. I know from personal experience, quit while your ahead.

Well, most people who have any experience in the occult will tell you that a ouija board is simply a tool.  It doesn't have any magickal powers on its own.  It's simply an object that you channel your existing spiritual energy upon.  I have used a ouija board before, and I have gotten results.  A lot of it depends on a very open, quiet mind, and an honest belief that it's going to work.

Oh, and please exercise with caution.  I'm not telling you that this is 'trafficking with the devil' and whatnot, but not every spirit you talk to is well-meaning, honest, or even coherent.  Some of them are full of complete nonsense.  Look into ways to shield yourself.  If you're not serious about this, I would suggest refraining from it.

Just move the pointer onto what you want the answer to be, and then tell everybody that a 'spirit' did it. That's how they work, it's not rocket science.

A Ouija board can work.  The problem is you people are just too honest, too innocent.

A Ouija board picks up cues from the unconscious mind and conveys them through subtle movements of the fingers.  

But do you really want to communicate with the unconscious mind of the people around you?  Do you want to know what lies hidden in their nightmares?  It is generally the most negative material that comes out, because that is why it was hidden.  Or if not negative, at least dangerous or secret for a good reason.

Leave it alone.  They may not be supernatural, but they are dangerous.

I'm glad it didn't work. Ouija boards are an instrument of the devil. If you are looking for trouble keep using it. It may not work now but in time it will and then you will be hooked on it. Please stop using it before its to late.
