What is need to buy a Wii singing game like Boogie Superstar?

i've been looking at games for my friend for her birthday and he parents are getting her a Wii. so i wanted to get her a singing game (since she loves to sing). people have been tell me to get he Boogie Superstar. but is it a dancing game too?? what do you need to buy for the game??
