Certifications... There are actually comanies (i.e SetFocus) that will pay for you to learn and get all recquired certifications and will find you ajob as well. You might have to work for them for a certain amount of time but that comes with getting free education.. They will place you in a job and start you out at 36k atleast then you go up to 60 soon after..

Usually you will need a degree. If not look at either Cisco or Microsoft certifications. There are many books out there that can help. You don't need to go to a tech center like someone else posted on here. Also be very cautious of places telling you that they will get you a job starting at 36K and will go up to 60K soon after. This usually isn't the case. The IT field is very competitive and it is very hard to get a 60K salary soon after starting. It all depends on the market and where you live.
