What is needed to get certifified to teach English as a foreign language?

I have a lifetime teaching certificate to teach English stateside...what do I need to teach English as a foreign language overseas? Do I need that TEFL certification?

  1. yep you need to do the TEFL course and after that you'll be on your way.

    I did it and although I ended up doing another job when I got to london its not a waste at all. Especialy to earn some extra pocket money.
