What is needed to set up a craft market stall business?

Question

I am thinking of setting up a stall, but what avenues should I pursue before diving into it? (besides speaking with the market staff?)

Should I try the stand one day first? or dive right in?

For those of you who have done it, what *could* you have done to make the beginning alot easier?

Just make sure you plan, big problems with mini-stores and kiosks is they get a loan that is too small, or a loan that is too big.
