What is next in store for the unstoppable Carly Booth?
Carly Booth, the Scottish golf sensation is one of the most well known players on Ladies European Tour today. She has an impressive record that speaks volumes about her skills and experts predict that she will have a great year.
In order to predict what lies in her future, we have to look at her performance in the past. Usually, a golfer tends to have a pretty consistent performance that is repeated over the years. For Carly Booth, this means great things in the coming years.
Experts have predicted a great year for Booth and she hopes to post a steady string of wins throughout the year. However, she started the year on the wrong foot.
Missing the cut is bad enough at any point. Missing the cut at the start of the year is considered to be a sort of a bad omen for the year.
Booth took part in World Ladies Championship among much fanfare. After her performance in 2011, she was expected to do great in the Championship. She missed the cut completely and finished the event with a dismal score of 218.
Lalla Meryem Cup was next and she hoped for a great position on the leaderboard. Again, she and her fans were sadly disappointed. She closed the event on a score of 289 and was placed in the 46th place.
Next on her schedule was Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open presented by EventScotland. This was supposed to be home ground for the player who comes from Scotland.
She was excited about the event and planned to wash away the memories of World Ladies Championship and Lalla Meryem Cup.
There must be some truth in the adage about being lucky the third time. Booth really outclassed the competition and won the title. Many experts said that she had the benefit of home crowd. Booth dismissed all such rumours and said that she won because she
played excellent golf.
Her next two events were a repeat of her earliest performances of the year. She shot 303 points in Turkish Airlines Ladies Open. She was placed in the 44th position. The next tournament was UniCredit Ladies German Open presented by Audi. She landed in the
22nd position after a score of 284 points.
Booth again got lucky in her seventh event of the year. This was the well known Deutsche Bank Ladies Swiss Open. This tournament stands out in Booth career so far because of the stellar performance she gave in the event.
She shot 276 points and was placed in the topmost position. This was a moment of great joy for Booth had seen many disappointments since the start of the year.
A win at this point restored her confidence in her game and gave a new hope to her fans. With this trend in mind, experts can safely predict another win this year.
