  1. When the world was dominated by two super powers, namely, USA and Soviet Union, some countries got together in Bandung, Indonesia, in1955 and declared they'd be equidistant from both the groups. In other words, they would not be aligned with any superpower. India's Nehru, Egypt's Nasser and Yugoslavia's Tito were the cofounders of this movement. Later it was seen that all the three countries were aligned with USSR and virulently anti-US and anti-West. In today's unipolar world, nonalignment has lost its significance.

  2. Decode this lyrics " I will follow him"

    " Out of Africa"

Must be at your own risk.

    In moving backwards in time.

    Luke 4.4-7

    What do you think?

  3. Yep! Alam99 is right. Spare few exceptions, the non-aligned were either some kind of communist states or former European colonies. Lots of them were underdeveloped countries. (At that time underdeveloped was an acceptable term. These days even the most hopeless countries have to be called developing.) They were economically at odds with the western world.

They did not do much, in terms of original work. However, sometimes, they were all voting the same way at the UN. So diplomats tried to please those countries for their votes.
