  1. Not sure if this is what you mean - but Gandhi practised peaceful, non violent non-cooperation (satyagraha) so it may be something to do with that.  You also have the 60s student protests and they could be something to do with civil disobedience :-)


  2. Non-violent protest...like chaining yourself to a building, having a walk-out or a sit-in, using your voice and not your fists, and not resisting arrest. Get enough people to practice it, and you can disable a unjust situation and effect change without having to shed blood.
