What is on the job coaching?

Depends on the district.

I know in our district it could include but is not limited to leading some professional development at your school, one on one coaching / helping with integrating curriculum. Some districts allow each individual to create their own program and who they want to work with while some have a specific topic they want you to cover.

I've coached in technology and literacy and found it to be incredibly beneficial. Typically you also get training and are kept up to date with the current decisons of the district.

Wouldn't this be on the job training?  You're probably partnered up with a mentor to work along side you while you learn the routines of the job.

it's like tutoring for employees. they help you in a personalized manner deal with issues related to your performance.
