What is one animal or thing you would give human qualites to? What do you animal or thing do or say? Why?

This is called personification; giving human traits to inanimate objects or animals. My cat always says feed me with his look and actions.

Most mammals and many birds share human emotions.  This is not projecting, they really do.  Mammals often share the same facial expressions; some birds have been observed to mourn the loss of a mate.  The apes, especially chimps and bonobo, are closest to us in this regard, but even mice display evidence of basic emotions.

My dog.  She is a black lab/chow mix.  Her facial expressions speak volumes.  When we tell her "bad dog" she hangs her head and comes around trying to love on us.  When she doesn't like what we are doing, like eating and not letting her have a bite, she gives us a look that could kill.
