  1. I. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.

A good example is the serve.  A serve keeps going unless something acts upon it.  Resistance from the air and gravity act on the ball bringing it to the ground.  Or the net stopping it or a player passing it.

II. The relationship between an object's mass m, its acceleration a, and the applied force F is F = ma. Acceleration and force are vectors (as indicated by their symbols being displayed in slant bold font); in this law the direction of the force vector is the same as the direction of the acceleration vector.

I think a good example would be the dig.  The force applied in a spike is applied to the arms of the digger.

III. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

A good example would be blocking.  If the blocker gets hit with the ball, you will see the blocker go backwards if they use incorrect technique.

Another example would be the dig again.  On a hard driven ball, the idea is to just put your arms out and let the ball hit them and let the arms rebound.

    Good luck with this.
