  1. Red sox have everything but they are lacking pitchers in the bullpen..

And Shortstop, looks like Lowrie will replace Lugo soon. I sure hope so.

But Since Masterson has come up hes been a major help to the bullpen i think he should stay as a reliever he did better in his first game as one too.

  2. ANGELS=CONSISTENT OFFENSE

  3. Brewers: A good manager.

Anyone can say bullpen, but we have good young relievers(Stetter, Dillard, DiFelice) that were all sent to AAA so Ned can have his golden--more like fool's gold-- boys(Gagne, Mota, Riske) back to pitch.

Until Ned is gone, I won't feel completely comfortable with the team.

  4. Phillies seem to have lately lost the ability to hit with runners in scoring position

  5. Brewers - it isn't something they lack, but something they have too many of: overrated pitchers (Suppan and Gagne, anyone?)

That said, at least Sabathia and Sheets generally get the job done, as do Shouse and Torres in the bullpen

  6. Offense

  7. Cardinals--bullpen no matter what Tony Larussa says about their offense, and another lead off type batter... 2nd baseman or shortstop

  8. well the padres lack like everything

but I'll just say hitting with RISP

  9. Yankees= 1 more starting pitcher

    Braves= injuries (Chipper again... lol)

  10. Blue Jays are lacking being able to hit with runners in scoring position and not being able to hit homers. So many games the pitchers  have been excellent but the players just could not bring anyone home. One game versus the rays in extra innings got a lead off triple could not bring him home lost the game.

Every year they say they will be able to be a real threat in A.l east and every year they suck at something that just brings them down. The leader in the club with homeruns this year? Has less then 10! No bluejay has 10 hr yet. The biggest thing though is lots of the games are one run games and lots of the teams you play against can just tie it up with one swing. SIGH.

  11. a Centerfielder who can make contact

  12. The Yankees

    another Starting pitcher

  13. Mets- An everyday outfielder and reliable pitching rotation.

  14. Braves:  The ability to stay healthy

    So far this season:

    Yunel Escobar - SS

    Chipper Jones - 3B

    Martin Prado - IF

    Matt Diaz - LF

    Mark Kotsay - CF

    Mike Hampton - SP

    John Smoltz - SP

    Tom Glavine - SP

    Jeff Bennett - SP/RP

    Anthony Lerew - SP/RP

    Rafael Soriano - RP

    Mike Gonzalez - RP

    Peter Moylan - RP

    Manny Acosta - RP

they've all missed significant time due to stints on the DL or they've stayed off the DL but have missed a number of games.  Which is significant because a healthy Smoltz is still one of the games best pitchers, Gonzalez and Soriano both have the ability to be solid closers, Moylan is one of the best set-up guys in the game and Chipper Jones right now is the best 3rd baseman in the game, even better than ARod.

  15. YANKEES

    CONSISTENECY

they have had 5 game winning streaks and 5 game losing streaks.

  16. Oakland Athletics: Hitting when theres a runner at 3rd with less than two outs.

  17. Indians - One more legit outfielder,  Matt Holliday would be awesome

Then when Matt Laporta matures as a player bring him up and we have some kind of an outfield

  18. mets- a goo dbullpen and reliability on the starters

  19. Rangers - pitching.

We could have one atleast 10 more games if we didn't blow the lead late in the game.

  20. Cubs- consitency and staying healthy

  21. The Yankees need at least one more solid arm. Rasner is an innings eater and it's okay as long as the offense can overpower the other team. I'm just waiting for Ponson to crash.

I'm not saying they've got to make a big trade for another arm, though.

  22. Rockies- Pitching and a consistent offense.

  23. Yours and DodgerBlue's answer.

  24. Marlins: pitching

  25. Chicago Cubs: consistency

  26. Royals need a right handed power bat in the worst way.

  27. As a Dodgers fan, I would have to say consistency across the board. The pitching has been up and down, but the hitting has been way, way worse. We need consistent starting and relief pitching and some actual quality at bats. We need to reduce the strike outs *cough*Andruw Jones*cough* and situational hitting.

  28. White Sox

    consistency

  29. Phillies:

A solid 3rd baseman and some better pitching

  30. Cardinals - a good bullpen

  31. REDSOX have every thing the hitting and the pitching
