  5. There are lots of species of mollusk that don't have a shell.

    Some mollusks that don't have shells include most of the cephalopods (octopi, squids), land slugs and nudibranchs.

    Check out the photos in the links below. Nudibranchs are very cool animals and usually very brightly colored.

  6. An octopus is the only one that doesn't have any semblance of a shell.  They can squeeze through incredibly small holes to prove it too.
