  1. Make sure your home is properly grounded and bonded


  2. for safety:-



    1. the wiring should be properly done.

    2. the wire must be insulated and the wire should be changed every 2-3 yrs.

    3. in rainy season we should not touch the wet walls, because if there is leakage in house and if the wire comes in contact with wet wall the person touching the wall will get the shock.

    4. we should always use three pin plug, because one plug is for bare wire, second is for live wire and third for earthing wire. because of earthing wire if there is fault in electric appliance the current will pass through the appliance but still the person touching it will not get the shock.

  3. Several options:

    1. Cover the floor close to any electric socket with rubber or wooden floor-mate.

    2. Used electric socket with safety cover on it.

    3. Put electric socket high enough at the wall, so only adult will reach them
