  1. it's a determination of how stable an oscillator is, usually focusing on frequency stability. Inverting it, it's how much the frequency changes when it is supposed to remain constant.

    Affected by temperature changes mostly, with some changes also due to component drift, such as a capacitor changing value by a small amount with time. Also supply voltage sensitivity is a factor, and load sensitivity.
