  1. In 2007, the government spend 21% of the money on Social Security, another 21% on Medicare/Medicaid, 20% on Defense and 9% on paying the interest on the national debt.  The other 29% was spent on everything from school lunches, to roads, education, farm subsidies, science, etc.

  2. $3,000 Billion (3 Trillion) budget breaks down like this

$670 = 'Government Pensions' including social security, federal employee pensions

    $680 = 'Health Care' medicare & medicaid

    $105 = 'Education'

    $730 = 'Defense'

    $270 = 'Welfare' - unemployment, foodstamps

    $50 = 'Civil Protection' police,courts,prisons

    $80 = Transportation ground & air

    $20 = General Government

$90 = 'Other' ,Agriculture, research , community development

$250 = Interest on national debt

An estimated 66% is unconstitutional programs that should be eliminated. This would bring us back to a 1990 budget, but imagine the massive benefit to the economy if taxpayers could keep 66% of what they are currently paying.

  3. Wars

  4. 1) War on Iraq.  (for no purpose or gain)

    2) Welfare programs (to help 98% lazy and 2% needy)

    3) War on drugs (with no effect)

    4) To imprison people for victimless crimes

    5) Space programs to land somebody on a lifeless planet  (huh??)

    6) Anti immigration fences to keep out non-whites (i guess they only want vanilla in the melting pot)

    7) A military force large enough to do police work in, and interfere and meddle with, other countries
