  1. it is a process when lots of domestic animals eat grass and harm the soil by plunking the grass and damaging the soil

  2. too many herbivores per square area of grazing land

  3. overgrazing is when plants are exposed to grazing for too long, or without sufficient recovery periods. It reduces the usefulness of the land and is one cause of desertification and erosion. Overgrazing is also seen as one cause of the spread of non-native plants.

  4. when people have more animals on a property than the growth can support .and leave them there for two long .

the grass gets eaten down to its roots and dies

and desertification is the result .

this is the cause of much desertfication all around the world ,with domestic animals.

ideally one should have camps and rotate the animals ,taking them out in time ,so that the grass has a chance to grow again

much better to farm wild meat animals in a natural back ground ,which is sustainable

using fertilizers , herbicides and pesticides and the over pumping of aquifers for irrtigation,is the other reason for desertification.
