Are you talking about the PAL equivalent to a Panasonic camcorder similar to the XM1 or VX1000? Then I think you're looking for the Panasonic DVX100BE....Great camcorder. There's the Panasonic HVX200E too, but that's HD.

The closest equivalent is the Panasonic DVX100

The DVX100 model is available in 3 variants:

DVX100 - the original base model

DVX100A - has a slightly improved video processing system, but is still very much like the original.  Many users thought this model was not worth the extra money versus the original model and cheaper price.

DVX100B - has a lot of advanced improvements.   If you can afford the extra cash, get this model.
