Passion is love of the game.  I wasn't any good but when I was younger and could play, before I messed up my knees. I loved playing baseball.  Also its the independant minor league players playing for $600 a month. (rookie salary in the Frontier League)  Playing for love of the game.  Running out every ball.  Constatly hustling.  The rerason I love minor league ball.

its  an association with emotional feelings for a particular event or liking. It goes past an average response so that for example an average male would cheer and watch a racing car on a track  a man with a passion would want to see the car , touch it if possible and  ask about the driver.the car ,its performance etc and would talk overtly to others about it almost to point of tedium.
