  1. Paypal was established by ebay as a method of payment drawn from your bank account, & or credit card. setting up an account is fairly easy, but somewhat time consuming, as they have to verify your funding sourse. but once your set up, it is very easy to use, but like anyother financial institutions it is not free for sellers...

Unless the seller requires direct paypal payment, you can pay with money order, cashiers checks, &  a lot of the sellers accept personal checks.. most sellers define payment options in their listings!!! good luck

  2. Paypal is supposed to be a SAFER way to pay for things online using your credit card, debit card, etc. Its commonly used on ebay but can be used on many other sites who support it. When your purchasing something on ebay you'll see on the bottom the Seller's Accepted Payment Forms. If it only saids Paypal (PAYPAL ONLY !!) then its required to buy the item.. But honestly if your really skeptical about the whole thing dont bother. But mostly some sellers have a few payment options.

Paypal is pretty safe i have to say though because it does offer buyer & seller protection .. only thing you'll get charged is $1.00 to add a card to an account. Hope This Helped !!! =D

  3. pay pal is an account you set up where you can send money to a place, and they can pick it up from that same place.  Kinda like western union sort of.  You have a card for it though.  I think you can use any kind of credit card on E-bay.

  4. paypal is a site where you can draw money from your bank account (which you have to add) but also can put money back in your bank account from paypal (after someone pays you). You dont have to have it, you just cant purchase anything from a seller that only accepts paypal. Look on the auction and if you see that they take checks or money orders then you can still buy they just will not ship to you until it arrives and (check clears bank) I have had paypal almost 4 years and I've never had a problem with it , most people have  a problem putting there banking account info on there but when i decided to start my store on ebay i got a seperate bank account for ebay purpuse only so if anything ever did happen it would affect my everyday checkings account. hope this helpS@
