What is peaches and cream complexion?

People say I have peaches and cream complexion. Why is it called that?

Do you think it's just as nice as tanned skin?

Peaches and cream means a fair-skinned redhead or a redheaded girl with creamy-white skin (and sometimes, but not always, freckles). I think it is just as nice as tan skin, if not better. My friend (who is peaches and cream) would rather be pale the whole summer than get a tan.I think it will make you look unique against the usual tan girls that crowd the beach. ;D
