Brad Faxon had knee surgery over the holidays and will be off the Tour for at least four to five months.

A little noticed article appeared on Christmas Eve in the Providence Journal, that Brad Faxon had major ACL surgery which will keep him off the Tour for the first half of the 2008 season.

Faxon described not only did they total repair the ACL, but also, "had to do two bone graphs, part of the tibia was exposed,(and) cartilage was floating around."

Faxon was able to keep his Tour card this season by taking a Top-25 All-Time exemption and he still has yet to take his Top-50 All-Time exemption.
