What is pixel in tv? what it does?what a different between LCD and Plasma?

  1. Pixel is short for "picture element". Think about dividing the screen into a grid of 1920 rows and 1080 columns (like 1080i or 1080p). Each grid cell is a pixel.


  2. pixels are little specs that show the picture on your screen. the more pixels, the better the picture

  3. Plasmas tend to be cheaper in large sizes than LCD and usually have a better black level. LCDs use less power and are probably better in rooms with a fair amount of outside light.

    I believe LCDs have made great strides in the last year and I do believe that plasma technology will eventually go away. It is all a trade-off and the best way is go to a TV place, look at them side by side, compare, and make up your own mind.
