What is porirua like?

I hear there is crime there, but when you drive through it, it looks abousluty stunning.

What's it like to live there? Does crime interfer with your day to day activities?

but generally its nice

dont stare at the fat maoris they might try beat you up though :p

Porirua's ok. Just like any other city in NZ, has good and bad areas.

I've never been there but it looks nice. There is crime everywhere in New Zealand.
