  1. Gyarados.


  2. Wailord or Milotic


  3. Well Swampart if you chose Mudkip as your starter for one but some others are:

    Ludicolo (That grass prevents electric from pummeling him)

    Sharpedo (his ability rough skin is nice)

    Wailmer/Wailord (Wailmer evolves into Wailord LOTS of HP)

    Whiscash (evolves from Barboach and Whiscash can learn earthquake)

    Miltoic (Amazing if your lucky enough to catch a Feebas)

    Walrein (Catch a Spheal. he evolves into Sealo who evolves into Walrein)

    Those are the pretty easily obtainable strong water type pokemon =D
