yeah i dont know what it means. i hear people talk about it a lot espically 23 year olds or older so help?

Also means if you are considering conceiving, or in the process of. So in terms of alcohol, women who are open to pregnancy know they should not be drinking (or smoking, or drugging - and that includes the men too) because it can affect the possible baby.

before you get pregnant--pre pregnancy weight, the weight you were before you got pregnant. These people may be talking about how they take care of their bod before they get pregnant too- like staying healthy, eating right and taking folic acid so when the time comes you have your best chance of having a healthy baby

The first answerer is correct. It refers to a time before you had your child (or children). Like... right now, I'm below my pre-pregnancy weight with my third child, but at the same pre-pregnancy weight before my first.

Alcohol and pregnancy don't mix. The occasional sip of wine, champagne or a mixed drink won't hurt anything, but much more than that, and you could be asking for troubles when you DO become pregnant, or ARE pregnant.
