Predictions `go a long way into ancient mythology,we have several stories contributing to this theory , the same can be said about curse which also seems to be a prediction out of compulsion. This incident said to have happened down in a south indian village could be a fascinating example of the argument, a man used to predict at random about whomeever he met , this made the superstitious villagers who thought he could be cursing severe his tongue to keep him shut from talking after he predicted the death of a young man, who went to distribute his wedding invitation,it seems that the man in question asked the young man why he was distributing the invitation card when he was not going to live for the event !and true to his words the young man died of jaundice in the hot summer within a few days before his marriage !!!!

  1. Prediction is based on the ability to receive and interpret what will be. Prediction are not cursed based but message based. Some are happy and fulfilling and some are sad and dark.

  2. It's all about belief, what some people call 'faith'.

There is no fixed 'future', only potentiality. All the possible outcomes of any situation, infinite numbers of them, do 'happen' in one or other perceived 'reality' chain.

When people either 'predict' the 'future', or lay a 'curse' on someone, the same principles apply. If the person hearing the prediction or the curse believes that this will come to be their experience, then the 'Law of Attraction', the basic formula of the creation of experience, comes into play.

The point being that most of us, most of the 'time' are experiencing most of what we experience because others have told us, conditioned us even, to believe what will happen.

Eventually we come to realise that we can arrest this process and replace it with the ability to create our own desired experience, and not think ourselves 'victim' to the creations of others. No-one can impose their vision of 'future outcomes' on anyone else unless that person hands over their own creative power to do so.

I hope that this answers your question .

  3. It's just nonsense, somebody made up that story

  4. The difference between a bad prediction (remember good things can be predicted too) and a curse is that a prediction is something that is seen in your future and a curse is something that a person tries to make happen to you. A prediction is given in order to prepare you, it is a statement of probability- it is not laid in stone- there are generally ways to avoid a prediction you don't like. A curse however is a hostile act, the person is actively trying to make something bad happen to you.

  5. I think some do have a form of prediction. And then there are those that have a gut feeling!

I will give an example out of my own life. I was working in the produce section of a local grocery store, putting bananas out. Not really thinking on anything except how to arrange the bananas, when out of no where I seen (in my mind) and semi truck roll over loosing a load of long dark objects on a bridge! I could not tell you what the objects were. It literally stopped me in my tracks and made me sick, for the most part why did it pop in my mind and for fear of people being hurt! It left me feeling somewhat disturbed but I went on with my job, maybe 2 or 3 hours. Left work and came across the over  pass for route 60, looked down where 60 crossed the river and low and behold there it was! I semi took the on ramp to 60 too fast and rolled the truck and trailer on its side! He lost a load of long pipe! Thank God no one was hurt not even a scrath on the driver of the rig! I was the one pulling my car off to throw up! That sat weird with me many years!

But then I do get gut feelings! Never "see" anything, but  a feeling of "DON"T"  or "DO" and let me tell you it does pay off to listen to those feelings! I have felt dont go that way while in the car, and then find out later there had been an acciedent where I would have gone through and it happened about the time I would have been there! Then felt as if I need to stop and buy myself and my Mom a scrath off lotery ticket, I do not buy those things, do not make enough money to throw out! But I did and she won a dollar and I won 527 dollars off one ticket! and a free ticket off another! All out of three 1 dollar tickets! I had felt badly because it was my hubbys birthday the next day and did not have much money to get him anything other than a card and some very little cheap thing! Needless to say He had a great birthday!

I myself do not understand these things why they happen and when they happen! I have never "seen" anything like the truck again and I am glad of that it really scared me! I can tell my husband every time we are going to make a larger purchase even though there is no money available at that time for it, but it but it always happens! We lost our niece to a horrible murder, I did not see the events of it, but I felt that there was some sort of bad awaiting her! i only wish I knew how bad it was, maybe I could have prevented it!

All and all it is weird.

  6. If you can tell in advance what is going to happen in the life of an individual in future on a particular time/period  you are PREDICTING.

If you wish that something very bad must happen to a particular individual in future you are CURSING.

If somebody tells in advance whether your curse will become a reality he/she is again predicting

  7. Prediction means literally to be able to tell what is to happen in future. Most say they dont believe in them but do indulge in them like predicting the fate of the cricket team.  It cannot be totally discarded as nonsense.  I didn't believe in predictions inspite of the fact that my grandpa was an astrologer. When I was in class 12 he predicted that I wd become a postgrad,hv a husband who will be an engineer who will deal with steel, he will hv a transferable job and even that he will hv 2 houses. He went on to give a physical description of how he will look.  God honest, it came true down to the last t when I became a pg after 15yrs of quitting studies. HOWZZAT
