  1. a lot of questions!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. 1: Not entirely sure. I believe it has to do with spreading out their body so that the pressure is applied over a larger area. (A sword or a nail can cut easily because all the pressure is applied at a tiny point, but a hammer with that same force won't because the pressure is applied over a wider area).

2: Because, as in the parentheses above, the same force of a kick is applied over a smaller area, so the concentration of the blow is enough to make a more damaging mark.

why do your ears hurt if you dive to deep? The pressure on your ear drums. Remember that you hear by compressional waves. That's why hitting a desk causes sound, you hear the pressure waves it creates. The ear drums are sensitive so that they can detect that pressure more easily. Since pain is a way for your body to tell you that something is damaging you, you feel pain because it is telling you that you are harming your ear drums.

what would happen to a person in outer space if their spacesuite sprang a leack? They would, most likely, "explode" because our body is designed for the pressure given on Earth, so without that, it can't hold together very well. So...ow...

what would happen if a submarine dove too deep? Pretty much the opposite of the above, I think. I saw a video where they put a styrofoam cup on the ocean floor and brought it back up. It was about a fourth the size when it came up from the pressure. Now the submarine isn't porous like the cup, so it would probably crumble and bend.

(Don't take me for an expert, I'm going off of observations.)

  3. Pressure is the amount of force applied over a certain area.

A big force over a small area gives a huge pressure.

The same force over a larger area will result in less pressure.

So look at your questions again in regard to the amount of force and the area.

Next, remember that air or water pressure increases as you go deeper.  The opposite is also true, pressure is less the higher you go.

Finally there is no air in space so there is no air pressure.  Astronauts wear pressurized suits to maintain the correct amount of pressure on the body.
