  1. Prince Albert was titled and styled as His Royal Highness The Duke of Clarence and Avondale between 24 May 1890–14 January 1892. Duke of Clarence is a title which has been traditionally awarded to junior members of the English and British royal families. The final creation ("Clarence and Avondale") was for Prince Albert Victor of Wales, the eldest son of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII). The Duke died of pneumonia in 1892 and the title again became extinct.

  2. Depends on what you mean by "epithet"

If you mean the short form of his name/title, it was "Duke of Clarence" or simply "Clarence".

If you mean his nick-name, it was "Prince Eddy".

He was also derogatorily known as "Collar and Cuffs"

  3. Duke of Clarence. Not Clarnce

  4. Hahahaha! You said "Prince Albert"...
