If ur documents are for ur job then take all the degree related papers + ur travel documents which includes ur passport and visa to Deira Dubai. First u need to get translated in Arabic language there are many centres on Cornishe area , I think they charge 80Dhs/- per page and get them notarised in Dubai consulate which is in Foreign Affairs building . Really it is very hectic job as we have gone through b'cose you will have to spent hours and hours to get notarised. anyways gd luck.

Take your documents in and pay about US$90 per page. Can you be more specific? Is it for marriage cert or educational papers?

A marriage cert needs to be attested by your home country department of Foreign Affairs as well.

You need to be more specific, had my education certificate attested by UAE consulate recently. I’m Malaysian, but my education cert are from Australia (it needs to be attested from the origin country of where you get your certificate). What I did was to hire a Notary Public/Solicitor from Australia to do this attestation. They will do a colour copy of your cert and certify as true copy thereafter the same copy are sent to Australia Department of foreign affairs and trade (DFAT) and UAE consulate to legalized your documents. Takes about a week to two tops. Please bare in mind that this is done when you have your original documents from Australia, Different countries might have different methods of doing it but just a short note to you, UAE are not one of those countries that has sign on The Hague Convention, which means they will not accept Apostilled Certificates, the only way is to legalize your documents via above mentioned method.
