What is produced in every chemical combustion?

Is it always CO2 and H2O?

or can it also be CO and H2O?

I think CO2 is produced in complete combustions.

And I think CO is produced in incomplete combustions.

Is that right?

  3. That is correct.CO is produced when oxygen may be limited

    by availablity to the burning material...such as the accessibiity of charcoal briquets....leading to incomplete combustion and CO production
