Is the production eng. similar to mechanical eng? Since, I have both the choices, which stream should I prefer? What are the dissimilarities between PE & ME?

  1. production engineer can be from all  engineering branches.He can be a material,chemical,mechanical,textile engineer.It depends on the production of the factory.
