  1. i went to a private school before, its very competitive in academics, when i moved to a new place and a public school...i felt like a genius .....everyone is so immature and crazy...they don't respect the teachers and other students...they think they own the school....sometimes i ask myself.."why are these kids in school?..they don't deserve to be educated when they are not determined to"...some of them are really nice and responsible...but most of them are just plain blah....no discipline..no respect....no care at what they do....they should just not go to school and waste other peoples time...

sorry if i offended anyone.....if i had a choice, i would stay in my private school...

  2. Well, I've been to public school all my life. Public schools don't have as nice stuff as private. So if a private school had state-of-the-art computers and AC's and whatever, don't expect to see them there in public school (well at least that was the case with my school). Not sure about PE because my school never had that type of thing (i went to a school in south africa). I'm guessing you wouldn't wear a uniform either. Don't worry, you'll make friends!

Ya, and also public school doesn't look as nice as private, and there are more people in a class.

  3. In PE classes in public school, the teachers are all lesbians who LOVE S&M, so they basically get to sit in the teachers lounge wearing their flannel, watching the girls change clothes, and carrying 6 snake headed whips in order to torture you in physical labor.  You may assume that public schools' PE classes consist of running, dodgeball, rope climbing, flag football, and soccer.  But you are horribly mistaken.  It is filled with fire, brimstone, crying, tears, blood, sweat, more fire, gnashing of teeth, and hideous lesbians.  However, there are no demons, save those of your own mind after having experienced the 2+ semesters required of you.

Also, you will learn nothing.  Except how to cry, despite having no fluid left within your body.

    Also, private school FTL lulz

  4. Dont be scared ull meet plenty of friends the very first day or two youll be super super nervous but once u get used to it and make some friends youll have fun I personaly wouldnt want 2 go to private school! But P.E is really boring!

  5. to be honest, i didn't like public school at all.  in fact, this year i'm switching to a private school.  trust me, public school's a whole different world...my advice to you is to find a nice group of friends who aren't involved in anything bad.  there were very few "good" people in my public school.  but hopefully your experience will be better than mine.  good luck :)

  6. Well let's see... classes are typically larger, your relationships with your teachers aren't usually as close, it's smellier, dirtier bathrooms, dirtier in general, you'll probably feel uncomfortable at first, it's cliquier, yes, gym class sucks. But more people means more opinions, which is good and bad. It will get you more ready for life post-school though. And be prepared to answer the same questions OVER and OVER (i.e. "Where are you from?" "Where did you go to school?" "Oh, do you know such and such?")

Now, I don't know what you're like but I generally stay away from people who act like idiots (preps and jocks, if you're looking for a generalization, but it's not always the case.) The shyer people and those who don't give a rats @$$ about what other people think and just enjoy being outspoken are the people I found to be the most interesting.

Find someone who is friendly and ask them if they can help you out and if you can sit with them at lunch, things like that. A lot of people turn out to be jerks, even if they dont seem it at first. Just be prepared for that, and be nice to everyone. And I'm telling you this as a warning: the more comfortable and outgoing you are, the more people will welcome you. If you're very shy around people, it will be awkward. Don't think about it too much if you say or do something that seems stupid. Like I said, if you're comfortable and content with yourself, people will respect you and want to be around you.

I hope this helps, I just rambled everything I could think of from my experience (5 years private school, and now I'm going into my 5th year in public school. Wow, already?) Anyway, good luck! It's really not as bad as it seems (or how I made it sound, sorry). Its easier if you go into it thinking that you WANT to enjoy it.

Oh, and be friendly to everyone so people don't think of you as an ****** right off the bat.

  7. the same thing happened to me. public school is just like private, except there is more people (both students and teachers) and not as strict rules. i like public way better than private school. there's nothing to worry about, unless your very shy or something like that.

  8. Ugh, public school. Im here. PE is probably the same as private, the only real differnece is that your classes will jump from about 15 to like 40 per room, and 75% of the kids are idiots both in knowledge and conversation. There are also those teachers who have taught so long they dont care and try to keep you smart enough so they get paid. Try to get back to Private, but if you cant its not really a major change. You will be so smart compared to them!

  9. Im gonna say it truly and ignore the person above me!

Don't be scared! i went to public school all but 2 years and its not to totally horrible! gym class isnt that bad if you are on the couch's good side :) Just don't get mixed up with the wrong people and understand that some people aren't nice. Don't let anyone put you down! be yourself and you will make friends. sometimes, the geeks are the best friends :)
