What is purchasing items from amazon.com like?

Question

I've been purchasing items from eBay for a long time, but I have gotten banned, so I figured I should use Amazon. Before I do, I need to know what Amazon is like.

I've always had great luck with Amazon. Good customer service. Fast shipping. I prefer them over ebay.  Remember though, Amazon has outside sellers as well, which is similar to ebay. The sellers have guidelines to follow as far as shipping costs and shipping time frames, but I usually don't order from those sellers. I prefer to stick with the items offered directly from Amazon.

You go to their web page.

Search for what you want.

Order it and enter your payment and address information.

They send it to you in the mail.

It's like a giant online shopping mall that sells both new and used items. You can even sell things you don't want anymore on there. I've sold a lot of old video games that way.

i have previosly bought craft books from them and had no problems. i live in Sydney  Australia. i still receive emails from them stating good  books on sale.
