  1. Legacy is over rated but yes, it's too much for those subs.

You need a mono amp that's 800 watts RMS @ 4 ohm or @ 1 ohm as those subs can be wired for either.

See my site for wiring diagrams and other good info http://spkrbox1.spaces.live.com

  2. It is 2X200 @ 4 ohms and 2X300 @ 2 ohms. Here's a link to the owners manual. http://www.legacycaraudio.com/manuals/LA...

It will about half power those subs.

Depending on the voice coil configuration, this amp would do a much better job of driving those subs. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/...

  3. If you have two 4-ohm DVC subs, then the amp will be running at 2 ohms per channel.  The rated RMS power for that amp is 300 watts per channel at 2 ohms.  Connecting a 400-watt RMS sub to a 300-watt RMS output isn't too much of a mismatch.

Of course, the "2400 watt" rating on the amplifier is some marketing guy's fantasy.  But it should work with your subs well enough.
