What is "Operation Sudden Impact?" And why are Americans allowing the government so much interference?

Does this mean we no longer have our Constitution and/or that it has been suspended? What about the Bill of Rights?

How much more will America stand for?

  1. Maybe you should explain what you are talking about and how it relates to not having the constitution any more.

  2. The police state is already here.

I live in Phoenix, and a few years ago, the police closed down 5 exits and all the lanes except one, on the freeway.  There was a massive traffic jam and it took us 40 minutes to go the five miles, and then had to backtrack to go back to our house!  People were getting fed up and would pull off onto the off-ramps and then get immediately pulled over.  WHY?  No reason, there was no construction, no accident, nothing.  It was testing... testing how far we will allow the authorities to go before we push back.

This is another test.  This test is beginning in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas, where police are being trained to impliment martial law.  Martial law is the suspension of our rights during time of dictatorship.

"Surely if there was a real terror threat, this activity would harm the effort to combat it.

"Such activity is clearly not related to a real and tangible terror threat, it is related to the ongoing effort to vastly increase the size and scope of the federal government and increase the power it has over American citizens."

In Phoenix, we don't need special operations.  Joe Arpaio is already ignoring our rights (breaking the law).  He has repeatedly set up checkpoints to "check your papers."  They use racial profiling to pull people over, making up excuses later for their illegal behavior.  No one cares.

His tent city is filled with misdemeanor criminals, where the temperatures exceed 115 degrees, damaging their brains.  Then at night, they pour cold water around the tents, making the temperatures even more frigid.  The prisoners wear pink underwear.  They have killed inmates, including a paraplegic strapped to a chair.  They beat him to death and there was no consequence, no punishment at all.  This is the tip of the iceberg.

Oh, by the way, while Phoenix residents' rights are being trampled, the sheriff's office has an arrest rate of 2.5%!!! That's a 97.5% FAILURE.  At the same time, their response time is more than 15 minutes on priority one calls, and sometimes is 3 days.  How is any of this at all acceptable??

With corruption comes incompetence and brutality.

1984 is here, unless we stand up and stop it!!!!

  3. simply put ..i think we are getting close to the S**t hitting the fan ...I wonder  do i stock pile food.. try to fight ..or just give up easily.. almost everyone I know does not believe me, nor will they take the time to look in to my crazy antics .. ohhh thats melinda , there she goes with her wild *** stories . they dismiss me like im a bible toteing Christian  who doesnt know anything ...Mind you I am a Christian,,but im not  a in your face ..you have to believe my God.I will tell you of him . but if i see a distaste for my saviour . ill shut up .Needless to say ...banks are having issues . gas is high .money at a all time low . jobs gone to Mexico . rights being taken away . Police heavily armed and heavily trained.Rumors of military being trained for urban combat .I personally think its to late for us. Everything has been put in place..all we have to do now is sit back and wait for the game to begin . I watch chemtrails in the sky and wonder why they are there .Not enuff to curb global warming  like the government says .

I know there are metals in them that are harmful to us , but no one is sick.not really .I think i might have figured out why  they are there. The government in getting us used to seeing them . one day barium. the next  day maybe the bird flu.who knows.

I haven't heard about this before, going to have to do some research and will be able to answer better later.  The links above are what I found on it, and others as well

What I can get from the very short amount of reading I did on it, it's some sort of Martial Law training.

  5. This operation was

    1) amassing of taxmoney to

    2) flood departments with funds to conduct massive training

this included getting a few criminals they must have been too lazy to have gotten otherwise, but also hundreds of 'suspected terrorists'.  'suspected terrorists' are also the kind of person you wait around to get. atleast sit around the department laughing about untill that big check the chief talks about is about to be cashed.

Because it was more than warrant arrests, it moves to the area of police state actions, of widespread action to accumulate arrests - wether necessicary or not. Extraordarny scrutiny, multiplied way beyond normal.

I would be concerned with any overboard police actions, if there is not - as reassured in the bill of rights - proper warrant and investigation into who is being arrested. Without such, all suspected criminals being rounded up is only the first 5% who get arrested.

Once things like training manuals including house to house firearm collecting tactics surface, another few out of a hundred will raise thier eyebrows. For a moment atleast.

  6. Americans just don't know. One of the benefits of dumbing down education.

The Posse Comitatus Act will soon be dead.  After that, we will be closer to Communism than we will the free and open society America once prided herself on.

EDIT.  BOO..... Maybe one day you will wake up and realize... there really is not much difference between Liberals and modern day conservatives (or Neocons).

  8. http://www.shelby-sheriff.org/press_rele...

the link above is a reputable link which states that exact quote: "The names of those who are issued traffic citations, arrested or noted in other criminal activity will then be reviewed by Intelligence Officers at the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Homeland Security Operations Center. The crime information will then be forwarded to the State of Tennessee Homeland Security Center in Nashville to see if they might have possible ties to terrorist activity."-

so basically people who have a broken tail light or who were speeding will now be put into a federal database and investigated for possible terrorist activity -(which in my book can mean anyone). -This is an abuse of civil liberties and  constitutional rights and has no place on American soil -anyone proclaiming otherwise should read the constitution and the bill of rights

  9. Another good question Vet... and one for once I won't answer directly... I'll let an ex-LA cop do it for me.

I'd suggest people get some eduction on what is REALLY going on in the world, in our names - Ruppert is a VERY brave man and his research is cross referenced and impeccably presented.

This links to one of 15 Mike Ruppert clips on YouTube - I'd suggest you start with ANY and if you are intrigued simply look at more.  I'll choose one at random, but this WILL explain everything regarding the background of your question... time is short, we need to prepare to act and to assert our INALIENABLE and constitutional rights - or our kids and grandkids will never know what they lost:

  10. We have a Constitution, but liberals are lazy and they will do anything to keep from thinking or expounding an ounce of energy.  Even if that means losing their rights.

  11. Since Geo. Bush, most of our rights have been depleted.

  12. Maybe you should provide a reference to an impartial source that details the pros and cons of this.

In fact - how about providing a reference to an official government source so we can be sure that 'Operation Sudden Impact' even exists?

  13. I have never heard of it until now but a little digging turned up these sites

    http://www.blacklistednews.com/view.asp?...

From what I can tell the offical version is we catch terrorists - and who wants to argue with that ?

The other take on this is that anyone from anywhere at anytime is now a person who can be arrested on a suspicon - that judges and due process of law do not apply in these cases of "suspicon" - The odd thing is that polie inteligence should be able to put together enough of a case to get a warrent if --- IF-- an arrest is needed and charges could be laid

But in this case no charges are required to take someone from their home and hold them indifinetely -

Martial law - or "The war measures Act" in Canada

How much will Americans stand ? That depends on a few things -

The level of fear generated that they too will be labeled for being either a traitor or a terrorist if they speak up and how much they believe their police and government will always "do the right thing" even if there is ample evidence to the contrary - they still might overide that with the above stated "belief"

After all a CIA operative was outed because her husband told the media that the government lied about inteligence gethered and presented to the American public as a justification for the unprovoked attack on Iraq ---- that should serve as a powerful reminder to those within the government - what can happen to you if you disagree with the policy of the leader - In this case that leader was George Bush Jr

Or maybe it is all the paranoid left wing commie traitors and other liberals who are the danger to the nation - ???

Those were the first threats that Hitler had to get rid of - The Jews would not join the liberals the scholars and the wrong headed "lib journalists" for another 2 to 3 years after that initial threat to the war effort was removed from the democracy of Germany

Remember the democracy of Germany was threatened by - Polish Communists who were responsible for the terror attack on the Reichstag

And that was met with the Enabling Act which has spooky parellel to the Patriot Act but then the Germans were only protecting their democracy against terror cells within Germany

And the USA is only protecting their democracy against terrorists who threaten "all our freedoms"

While some argue that if the Islamic terrorists hated the west for it's freedom Bush gave in right away with the stroke of a pen - other "know" it is only to protect the democratic freedoms of the US and therefore some rights will have to go

And what better place to keep those terrorists than a camp in Cuba ? Or in Poland ? Either way - History has a nasty way of repeating itself

  14. http://www.blacklistednews.com/view.asp?...

    Operation Sudden Impact.

In a nut shell it’s training law enforcement authorities (from cops, to coast guard, etc)how to enact martial law.

And why do people put up with it?

Our rights are being taken away?

Because as long as you got your Doritos and beer, your television, your gas guzzlers, your videos and apple pie picnics, who cares - I mean, this is American right?  Can’t happen here.

There's only one way the American people will support a pre-emptive attack on another foreign country. If America gets attacked by biological or a so-called ‘dirty' nuclear device; the US government will receive enough support to permit the well known, well practiced Complan 8022-22 - A Global Nuclear Strike against Rogue States; Iran and North Korea.

The evidence regarding September 11, 2001 has been building for some time now. From the very first day of the attack there were numerous witness statements suggesting that many bombs had in fact been detonated in both towers. Now we know that both towers were allegedly brought down by temperatures that far exceeded the maximum temperatures that the fires in both towers could have possibly produced.

Building 7 appears to be a law unto itself. Never before in history has a building of such construction been destroyed by fire alone. I put it to the American people that Building 7 was the operational centre for the WTC demolition. An operation base; used to plan and execute the terrorist attacks on America. It was demolished just like the two towers, but for the purpose of destroying all the evidence relating to the planning and detonation of both towers.

The investigation of the events of 9/11 has been poor, controlled and censored. The 9/11 Commission delivered a censored document to the American public. When George Bush was questioned by the Commission, he wasn't able to answer the questions in public, nor was he able to answer the questions alone. He answered the Commission's questions in private and Cheney was there to hold his hand.

The obvious problem with 9/11 is the fact that the American people have been refused a genuine independent investigation into all the evidence surrounding 9/11. The reason the American people have been refused a full and frank discussion on 9/11 is because most of the government's structures are in fact surrounded in secrecy.

Why do government departments and policy need to be covered in secrecy? The main reason is that the people of government and power are the real people benefiting from government decisions. If you look at America's Federal Reserve, you will note that the American people are not allowed to know who in fact owns the Fed. Most American's believe that the Federal Reserve is owned by the government.

But the Federal Reserve is in fact owned by a small group of private bankers, with a large percent being European. So when the government needs to raise capital for infrastructure or even a war, the American government needs to apply for a loan from a small group of private bankers. This secret commenced in 1913, but more recently the bank has become involved in another major secret.

In March 2006 the Federal Reserve arbitrarily decided to stop reporting on something that affects the world's economy. The M-3 report from The Fed determines what the world's money supply is. This was used as a guide to help predict issues such as inflation and a way to determine necessary interest rates.

This is particularly relevant if the world suffers an economic catastrophe, because one of the expected responses will be an oversupply of money, which will lead to serious inflation, effectively destroying people's purchasing power. Many would argue that the money supply has been seriously increasing recently and that the Federal Reserve has negligently failed to increase interest rates to protect people from inflation.

In the aftermath of both world wars and through the Bretton Woods conference, the US and private bankers were handed the world. American bankers received the World Bank, European bankers received the IMF, but more importantly, the US dollar was instated as the standard unit of currency for trade in commodities. American and world bankers had in fact got what they always wanted by belatedly assisting the Allies in their fight against Germany.  In addition to this, they demonstrated to the world the ‘shock and awe' of the American military with a dual nuclear attack on Japan.

The effect of bombing Japan with two nuclear bombs may or may not have ended the war; but it certainly demonstrated the level of control that the US now had over the world. Evidence of this control is demonstrated by the fact that the US military still has army bases in both Germany and Japan, some 60 years after the end of the war.

The US military continues to stake out its claim throughout the modern world. It attempts each day to consolidate its hold in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The US is also showing a strong interest in India, with an indifferent approach to India's nuclear power/weapons production facilities.

But the ultimate power of the US is found in its dollar. As soon as the US dollar was installed as the world's standard unit of currency; the US was able to freely secure the world's commodities including oil. The world's oil supply, although coming from the Middle East and other oil rich countries, is in fact controlled by the US through the NYMEX and IPE oil exchanges.

In 1971, the rest of the world, after accepting US dollars for all their commodities, whether it was coffee, oil or bananas, came collectively to the US and asked to exchange their mountains of US dollars for gold. With the US facing bankruptcy, President Nixon closed the gold window.  From this day forward, the US dollar would be devalued to the extent that the gold price rose.

The practical effect of this was that the US dollar became spineless fiat. There is no backing for the US dollar; it is a mere piece of paper with no value, the only real value in the dollar is the fact that you must buy commodities with it, like oil.

Why doesn't the world simply drop the US dollar and end US supremacy and destructive foreign policy? The world is full of US dollars; economies around the world are impregnated with reserves full of US dollars. Collectively, China and Japan, hold $4.5 Trillion worth of US foreign reserves. If they stopped trading in US dollars both their economies would collapse.

The US dollar is traded and effectively measured by the US index. It is well known throughout the world that if the US dollar index goes below 80 points, then the world will go into a major depression and the US will lose control of world trade, including oil. From 2003 onwards, the US index has fallen below 100 points, in 2007 it rests between 80 and 85 points. Any move below 80 points will no doubt lead first to a US and then a worldwide economic catastrophe.

Has anybody refused to trade in US dollars in the past? In 2000, there was one country that stopped trading in US dollars. That country was Iraq; Saddam Hussein started demanding Euros for Iraqi oil, and many were prepared to pay Euros. Just one year after this event, the US people suffered 9/11; the event which allowed George Bush to strike Iraq in 2003.

If you allow yourself to consider or believe the above proposition and allow yourself to consider for a minute that the US did in fact invade Iraq to protect the US dollar. Then you can for a minute start to understand how people with the money think. The people in power sent a message to the rest of the world, when they executed Saddam Hussein and happily watched Iraq slide towards civil war;  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€Â˜don't **** with the US dollar'.

Just recently another country with oil is again defiantly trading in Euros. The Iranian government has openly entered into contracts with Russia and China for its oil in Euros. The impact is bigger than the threat of an invasion of Iran. The bigger picture is a conflict between Russia, China and the US.

China is the fastest growing economy in the history of the world. Their power to influence geo-political issues is at the forefront of every political or economic analyst's mind. A mere sneeze in the Chinese market has direct and palpable repercussions for the world's markets. Russia holds nearly half of the world's nuclear weapons, need we say anymore.

In the short time that George Bush has been in power he has pulled out of the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty with Russia. In addition to having massive bases already located in Europe, the US continues to enjoy the security of bases in both Bulgaria and Romania. These two bases clearly contradict the terms of the Conventional Armed Forces in Europe treaty. Next week, there is a good chance President Putin will request that George Bush ratify Europe's CFE treaty.

What will happen if George Bush ratified the CFE treaty? The US would have to pull out of both Bulgaria and Romania. This will not happen. The current administration shows no signs of retreating on any arena of the world's stage; in fact they have plans to actually increase their military power around the world, especially in Europe.

In complete disregard of Russian and European concerns, the US will continue with its plans to install a missile defense system in both Poland and the Czech Republic. The US refusal to ratify the requirements of the CFE, in addition to fresh aggressive statements concerning the new US missile defense system will in fact instantly result in a new cold war. This could happen as early as next week.

However, the US government has no money and their credit card as demonstrated by the falling US index is in fact about to run out. The US government is

  16. yep, silo13, trout, the violator, vote USA, and par8 have pretty much covered the issue well~!!!

i just got back from an all night Harley ride with my lady and just started checking things out~!!!

i knew about the Tennessee thing where they shut down the whole town, it was a practice drill that is being paid for by the Federal Government to put all our Police Force, National Guard, Civil Defense, Coast Guard, Air Force on Alert Status and  do practice drills on us citizens, and claim they are searching for terrorist~!!!

they are practicing this to get smooth and quick about it~!!!

they throw in a few thousand traffic violations and clear up some old ones while they are at it,

plus if anyone has a warrant out they snatch you up~!!!

if y'all start writing to your representatives and asking questions we might get some answers~!

check out my question in the government section under my Avatar that ask: "so is this cool or not, yay or nay"~??!!!

that was about the oil prices and the speculaters, and The Enron Loophole issue~!!!

and he gave me some straight solid answers~!!

maybe if we get enough people to get on there as*es and ask straight up solid questions, as long as you show the proper respect, we may get the answers we are looking for~!!!

let them know that we know what is going on, and that we don't like it~!!!

if they keep this up some serious c**p will be goin down~!!!

lately everyone on here is just bashing each other and not realy debating over the issues, me included~!!!

  17. I don't know what Sudden Impact is, but we are "allowing" the government so much interference because we have forgotten that when the government doesn't operate in the interest of the people, "it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it". Plus, before anyone should think by this that I'm an anarchist or something, I lean more toward the side of altering it, say, more toward the truly conservative side.

  18. I'm not sure what "Operation Sudden Impact" is, but it seems that to many Americans want the gvt to run our lives and be overly involved.

We will let our rights be removed over the course of time b/c we are to blind to see it happening in little increments.  If someone tried to take them all away all at once we'd revolt, but when they do it in pieces people don't seem to mind.

  19. This is just one more evidence that our government has exceeded it's legal authority. They regularly disregard the constitution with impunity.

As for how long the people will take it? Likely until it is too late to save the constitution without extreme losses of life and property. I do believe that it will take a forcible replacement of our current government with a constitutional one to regain the rights that we have lost. But until many more people feel much more pain, we must simply wait and prepare.

Of course this comment will likely get me targeted by something similar to "Operation Sudden Impact" because I believe in and support, and will defend the constitution OVER the government that would like to burn it!

  20. America certainly seems to be on the fast track towards becoming a police state. I cannot believe the freedoms that we have just been given away in the name of fighting terror.

This sure doesn't feel like America anymore.

Thanks for the clue, great question Fedup Veteran!
