What is "Sponsor Results" on yahoo search?

Each time I search on yahoo on my computer, there this thing called "Sponsor Results" on the left. It cames out every time I go and search on yahoo. It never does that when I use other computer but mine.

That is what pays for all of their bills,so to speak...

Those are paid ads based on the search terms. It comes up on all computers if there are ads matching the search terms.
