What is "The Game of life twists and turns" like?

I have the original game of life, but am not sure whether I want to buy this new one. Can anyone tell me (be very descriptive) of what this game is like?

  1. It is basically like life in the violent city I live in: Memphis. The numbers on the spinner are replaced by events. Vote for corrupt mayor is +3 places. Get shot for the fourth time downtown is -2 places.
